Brookes has been publishing groundbreaking resources from some of the most highly respected experts in early childhood, early intervention, education, and disabilities. The quality of our content and reliability for successfully integrating knowledge into practice is one of our main priorities. Expand your knowledge base with our training courses or webinars and enhance your practice by getting certified to administer our tools.
The Infant Social and Communication Behavior Scales (ISCBS) Training for Administration module has been created to walk you through how to administer the ISCBS Play Sample Protocol, through descriptions of the interactions and video examples of a sample administration. Short video clips demonstrate each of the tasks and items that make up the ISCBS and provide guidance on how to deliver the temptations with children who are between 2-12 months of age.
After you have learned to administer the ISCBS Play Sample Protocol, the Scoring module teaches you how to code the ISCBS Behavior Sample Scoring Worksheet. The Scoring module explains the scoring process, section by section, offering tips and reminders as well as video clips from a variety of ISCBS administrations to help demonstrate the specific behaviors being taught. The Scoring module also includes two comprehensive scoring tests in which you code using the ISCBS Behavior Sample Scoring Worksheet on your own. Once you achieve a reliability score of 80% or higher on this assessment, you are ready to begin using the ISCBS within your own practice!
